Hamas and the right-wing Israeli regime agreed 4-day "humanitarian pause" is taking effect today. The agreement will reportedly involve the release of some of the Israeli hostages held in Gaza and some Palestinians held in Israeli prisons.

On November 23, Israel launched a particularly intense bombardment on Gaza, targeting schools and hospitals, in anticipation of the humanitarian pause due to take effect at 7 a.m. on the 24th.

So far, 14,800 people have been killed in Gaza, including about 6,000 children and 4,000 women. Other thousands people are buried under the rubble with no chance of being rescued under current condition.

The Palestinian resistance negotiated a lull through Qatar to allow civilians access to the essential humanitarian aid they sorely need. Cynicism dictates that the genocidal bombings will resume at the end of this pause.

Regardless, all roads lead to genocide for the Palestinians in this concentration camp that is Gaza.

Heavy rains which caused flooding have hit southern #Somalia for a week. Almost a million people were affected by the disaster. More than 300,000 have been displaced. Around thirty people are believed to have died but the toll could be higher because some areas are cut off from the country.

A state of emergency has been declared everywhere. The authorities are racing against time in the southwest of the country to evacuate more than 2,500 residents surrounded by water. These rains hit Somalia a year after the worst drought the country has experienced in 40 years.

The cause in particular is the #ElNino climatic phenomenon which heats the Pacific Ocean and generates torrential rains in the Horn of Africa with consequences as far as #Ethiopia and #Kenya where dozens of people have lost their lives. According to the UN, El Niño is expected to last until April 2024.

30 days since Israel started the ethnic cleansing of 2.5 millions Palestinians trapped in Gaza Strip. 30 days of indiscriminate and targeted bombardment by air, sea and ground. The death toll has now reached the 10,000 civilians killed. 70% of them are children and women.

Every hour, 42 bombs are dropped destroying 12 buildings, killing 15 people, including 6 children, and injuring 35 people. The death toll has surpassed the ethnic cleansing of Bosniaks, in Srebrenica (8,489 dead).

Gaza has received the equivalent of 1 year of US bombardment of Afghanistan the 1st week of Israeli carpet bombing of the densely populated narrow "concentration camp". The 12,000 bombs that Israel admit having dropped surpassed by its power of destruction the atomic bomb on Hiroshima.

The planned genocidal campaign of the Zionist regime has also stopped water, food supplies, fuel, medicine from entering Gaza using a medieval warfare to maximize the death of Palestinians.

Gaza had been under a complete communications blackout for nearly 36 hours following intense #Israeli airstrikes on Friday that destroyed communications lines and towers.

The #Gaza Strip's health ministry said Israel's 23-day genocidal attacks killed at least 7,814 #Palestinians, mostly civilians, nearly half of them children.

Gaza's 2.3 million residents also face shortages of food, water and medicine due to Israel's medieval siege. Humanitarian trucks have been trickling into Gaza since the Rafah crossing opened last weekend, covering only 3% of needs.
